LOCATION: Skopje​, Macedonia

YEAR: 2008

PROGRAM: Addition of new school library, space for creative activities, renovation of the existing structure

SITE: Existing high school building situated in the suburban area of Skopje, composed of four interconnected pavillions

SOLUTION: The extension containing the new facilities represents a new axis that connects all the existing pavillions and a new gathering place for the students.It's shaped as a continous surface enabling the space to flow continously from the entrance to the roof. The metal sheet cladding of the existing pavillions is completely replaced by green roofs and transparent facade, thus integrating the classrooms with the courtyard.
